C.S. Lewis once said: “In great literature, I become a thousand different men but still remain myself.” Storytelling is a passageway to another world where we can become more than we understood before we stepped forward. Once we understand, we cannot then un-understand. The beauty of stories is their capacity to expand our world and our lives. We may remain ourselves, but not ourselves untouched.
Join us on the podcast today as we dive deep into one of our greatest joys and passions, stories and how they have the power to impact us all. We continue the season-long conversation on identity, from formation to transformation to maintenance. We are covering as many bases as we can find along the way. Today is no exception, though it is one of my personal favorites. We talk about the power of story to transform, expose, uplift, deconstruct, and expand the lives of individuals and cultures over time.
